The Salzburg hut
at the Kitzsteinhorn
The Salzburger Hütte is located on the Kitzsteinhorn at an altitude of 1879 m, in the midst of a wonderful alpine landscape, with magnificent views of the surrounding 3000-meter peaks and the Salzach valley around Lake Zell.
The hut is small and cozy and offers places to eat and drink in a cozy Stüberl or on our large sun terrace. We also have overnight accommodation in 2 mattress camps for about 20 people.
The hut will be open from June 12, 2026, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays. From June 25 until September 13, 2026, open daily (closed on Tuesdays). We look forward to your visit!
