The region Kaprun- Zell am See – Glockner is ideal for hiking and mountaineering in a magnificent mountain scenery. Summit tours, hikes from hut to hut (Glocknerrunde), day hikes or simply unwind and relax. This is exactly what you will find here at an altitude of 1800 – 3000 m above sea level.

  • Quite comfortable “gondola” with the gondola almost to the front door
Ascent with Gletscherjet 1 or Panoramabahn to Langwied station, then 20-minute descent
  • Also leisurely but a bit more strenuous on foot following the very well marked trails.

  • For well trained “mountainbiker” with the bike 1800 hm overcome.
Directly on the bike trail Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn. 1400 spectacular meters of altitude. Downhill over challenging single trails possible!
